The Ultimate Guide to Manifesting

Let’s get started with everything you need to know about manifesting. After reading this blog post, you get to walk away with no questions and will be ready to start. With new manifesting techniques always showing up, it can be confusing to know where to begin or what works. That's why I'm here to guide you! To make it easy and help you with avoiding mistakes.
Why should you listen to me? Well, I did do some research, read a couple books, and also dedicate a majority of my free-time to learning about it. But that's not what matters—I've been making vision boards consistently for the past four years, and I realize the most important part is 80% believing and 20% effort.
My 2023 vision board had a picture pasted on there of a class grade of 100. Its been two years, so I had forgotten about the old vision board. Regardless, I already felt accomplished since I went from failing courses in Community College and barely passing, to being on the Dean's List every semester since entering University. I'm now in my Senior year and I love learning, I romanticized being a good student for years before it finally took physical form. But it didn't happen right away. In 2023 I still failed courses though I made that vision board, because I first needed to put in the effort, so that the universe could take care of the rest. Oh–and I got over a 100% in my course last month.
So before we begin, I want to say be careful because manifesting a better life comes at a price. I'll warn you now that once you start to wish for change, and for answers, things will fall-apart and life will once again push you out of your comfort zone. None of this is by accident! Everything that is happening – good and bad – is all working in your best favor. What fell apart, had to fall apart, relationships that ended, needed to end. Remember, that the universe is making space, and creating strength in you for what you deserve, which is so much better than anything you could ever imagine.

#1: Manifesting: What's Manifesting?
Oxford Dictionary defines manifest (verb) as “to show something clearly through signs or actions, or to appear to become clear.”
Basically, manifesting is aligning your beliefs and actions to create your desired outcomes. The art of manifesting – its true essence – lies in how it creates a version of you that is focused on intentional living, so that you can align with the physical reality that reflects your desires.

How?: Thoughts activate certain neural pathways, by strengthening these pathways, you are able to direct your focus towards your desire, and ultimately change your behavior causing shifts in your daily reality.
Why does it matter?: Because we're always manifesting – whether consciously or not – the goal is to manifest deliberately and in your highest interest.
What are we actually doing when we're manifesting? We're breaking into our subconscious mind – "where 95% of your daily habits come from" – which is why rewiring it is so important.
So really were becoming more aware of our own psyche, beliefs, and thought patterns; this can help with noticing any negative patterns that need to change. Once you know the changes you want to make, you're now inviting in intention and clarity. Once you know exactly what you want, you can visualize your future self with details. And once you realize how you talk to yourself, you can focus on positive self-talk and with time change your identity.

Different Types of Manifesting:
Visualization or scripting: Writing as if everything you desire is already yours, journaling how amazing life is now that you have everything you desire.
Affirmations & mantras: Spoken or written repetition
Vision boards: The best way to have a physical receipt of the beautiful things coming to you
Embodiment: Living every single day, and waking up as your future self—right now!
Energetic alignment: Meditation, and consistent healthy habits to raise your vibration
Micro vs. macro manifesting: Celebrate the small wins and the big wins, they all count.
Tools & Practices:
Journal prompts, become clear on the details, write out your affirmations, write an entry through the eyes of your desired self
Create your "Miracle Morning" routine, I recommend the app Habit to help you remember and stay on top of your A.M. routine, but you can create checklists on your notes app or use google
Meditation & breathe work, look up guided meditations, practice breathing into your stomach
Create a physical vision board, I recommend printing the pictures at a local store and gluing them onto a poster board. Whenever craving more inspiration create a mini digital version on your phone too. For help with finding pictures, check out my Pinterest!
